Touching the lives of Children

On 15th May 2011, FVM held the first outreach ministry at Zabibu Childrens' home near Ruiru town - Kenya. FVM donated foodstuffs to the children's home.

Zabibu Centre accepts those who have never been to school, dropouts, post primary and post secondary.
The learners with special needs needs include
  • Autistic trainable learners
  • Hearing impaired
  • Visually impaired
  • Physically challenged
  • Mentally challenged
  • Down syndrome learners
  • Persons with HIV/AIDS
  • Sexually abused
  • Physically abused
  • Orphans and vulnerable

In addressing those with special needs, Zabibu offers a variety of courses.
  • Hair and beauty therapy
  • Machine and knitting
  • Fashion and design
  • Creative skills such as embroidery, crochet, etc
  • Livestock management
  • Business administration
  • Evening literacy classes
  • Computer courses
  • Special care givers
  • Community health workers
  • Bead making
  • Early childhood eduction
